Baba Yaga Horror Film Fest is an independent international festival dedicated to bold and atmospheric horror cinema.We welcome films across all horror subgenres — from psychological and slow-burn stories to intense, audience-driven experiences.The festival is built around a simple idea:Let fears exist only in cinema.

JURY

LUKA BURSAC

A Serbian director, screenwriter and producer. Born in Belgrade in 1990. He is best known for the full-length horror «Videoteka» (2024), as well as other films.
His work often combines genre storytelling with a strong visual style, drawing from horror, fantasy and mystery cinema. He continues to develop independent genre filmmaking through both short and feature-length projects.

KOSTAS MARSAN

A filmmaker from Yakutia (Sakha Republic), Russia. He is best known for the ethnic horror film “Ich-chi” (2020), inspired by Yakut mythology, as well as the detective thriller “My murderer” (2016). His work focuses on genre cinema and draws on the folklore, culture and traditions of Yakutia. He continues to develop independent filmmaking through feature-length projects.

VLADIMIR MOTYREV

A Russian director and screenwriter known for his independent genre short films, including “Knock-Knock” (2022), “Unseen” (2023) and “Village of the Damned” (2023).
His work focuses on horror and suspense, and his films have been recognized at international film festivals.
